Dezza 'dumps Chezza'

It hasn't been a great week for poor Cheryl Cole, having been sacked from The X Factor US and then seemingly re-instated in some mysterious tactical ploy.

But that doesn't seem to have stopped her (pretend) boyfriend Derek Hough picking this moment to bring their (pretend) relationship to an end.
Yep, dancin' Dezza is reported to have decided it was time to draw a line under things, now that Chezza is claimed to be getting closer to ex-hubby Ashley Cole.

Dezza's stepdad Aaron Nelson was quoted as saying: "'It's sad - but it was just not working out. Derek just wants to move on with his life."

There has been widespread scepticism about whether the pair of them were ever really a couple at all - and Cheryl has always remained coy on the subject.

She told Piers Morgan last year: "I am not confirming or denying anything. People can think he's my boyfriend, people can think he's my best friend."

Or they can think you're just hanging around together and feeding stories to the press about your supposed relationship in order to get publicity, eh Chezza?
