Closing out the weekend with a fun-filled beach excursion, Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise hit up a Memorial Day beach party in Malibu on Monday (May 30).
The Cruise ladies both looked cute and casual while sporting high heels as they romped along the Pacific coastline during the festive get together with a group of loved ones.
The mother/daughter holiday outing comes shortly after the theatrical trailer for Katie's new movie "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" hit the web.
Due in theaters on August 26th, the horror/thriller flick tells the story of "a young girl sent to live with her father and his new girlfriend who discovers creatures in her new home who want to claim her as one of their own."

Arnold & Maria's Separate Malibu Memorial Day
After calling it quits earlier this month, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver both spent the holiday weekend in Malibu, California - separately.
The estranged couple were both spotted out and about in the posh California town - as Arnold took a midday cruise on his motorcycle while Maria did some shopping with their son Christopher (sans her wedding ring).
Earlier in the day, the 55-year-old mother of four took to her Twitter to show her appreciation for veterans and their families on this commemorative moment, writing, "This weekend, I'm thinking of all who gave their life, and all the families who lost a loved one, in service to this great country. You have our deepest gratitude and respect. God bless."
Shiver added, "My daughter once gave me a great Plato quote that said, 'Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.' I love that. So true. We don't know what is going on inside of most people. On this Memorial Day, when so many are grieving in obscurity or silence, let's keep that in mind."

Readying himself to make the trek overseas, David Beckham was spotted at Heathrow Airprort just before hopping a flight from London to Los Angeles earlier today (May 26).

Justin Timberlake rumoured to be dating Olivia Wilde

And just to prove it, Justin Timberlake appears to have pulled another showbiz beauty just weeks after splitting from Jessica Biel.
Since pulling the plug on his seemingly unhappy relationship with Biel, Justin has been linked with a number of stars, including Mila Kunis.
But the latest lady to fall for Timberlake's charms is rumoured to be House actress Olivia Wilde.
Reports that the pair were getting cosy first surfaced at the beginning of April but just last week, the trousersnake's rep denied that they he and Wilde were a couple.
Strange... following his SNL skit with Lady Gaga, who should Justin end up partying with? Olivia Wilde.
If they're not GF and BF, we're guessing they must be BFFs.

Emily Maynard and Brad Womack: DEFINITELY Over
How do we know for sure? Well, we suppose we don't. Not 100 percent anyway, since no named source will confirm it, let alone The Bachelor pair themselves.
But come on. We know a breakup when we see it, and even if there's no Twitter war of words available to the public, we're willing to stick a fork in these two.
Here's why we're 99.9% sure of a Brad Womack-Emily Maynard breakup:
It was all downhill from here ...
- It happened once before, between the taping of The Bachelor and the night the After the Final Rose special aired. Not a good sign, and they didn't even seem happy (or put on that good a front) by that point.
- The distance thing isn't that bad. Yes, Emily and Brad live in North Carolina and Texas. Too far to drive. But if you're in love, you make it work, rather than cite this as a reason it didn't before even really trying.
- Brad is persona non grata on her Facebook / Twitter. Yes, we realize they are probably just private people. But not one denial of the absurd rumors floating around tells you something. She doesn't even mention him.
- The engagement ring is off. Typical of a non-engaged woman.
- Brad is actually a cyborg. Okay, that's just THG's theory.
In short, Brad is clearly 0-2 at this Bachelor thing. Perhaps he should have proposed to Ashley Hebert ... she seemed into him, which Emily never really did.
West Lee, Bachelorette Hopeful, Investigated in First Wife's Death
There's baggage and then there's what West Lee brings to the table.
On The Bachelorette premiere Monday, Lee, a South Carolina-based prosecutor, discussed how his wife Sarah, "the true love of my life," drowned in 2007.
"She had a history of seizures," West recalled of his wife of seven years, getting noticeably choked up on screen. "One day she went and got in the bathtub."
"I found her face down ... [I] pulled her out and I called 911."
WEST WIN: Will Ashley Hebert be moved by Lee's story?
Sarah's death "hurt more than anything I've ever felt in my life," he said. "That part of my heart, that trusting part, the loving part, it just vanished. It died."
According to a lengthy police investigation, West was not responsible for his wife's death, but the story is more complicated than he presented Monday.
There were allegations of drug use by both West Lee and his wife and signs Sarah had mental health problems. Her mom, Dianna Sapp, was suspicious.
"Her mom voiced concern about the cause of death, but we looked into the case a second time," Lt. Matt Davis, from the Lexington, S.C., P.D., said.
"There was no physical evidence on scene that suggested Sarah Young's death was a homicide by The Bachelorette contestant Adam West Lee."
"We had the coroner's report. She had alcohol and marijuana in her system at the time of her death, but we're not sure if she purposely killed herself."
According to the report, Sarah's death was caused by accidental fresh water drowning. West, too, admitted he was under the influence when Sarah died.
West said Sarah had been "very depressed" around the time of her death.
After getting into a few minor car accidents in a short period of time, "everyone in the family was concerned about her safety, and [West] wanted her to perhaps go back to the doctor," the report reads.
And two weeks before she died, West caught his wife inhaling computer cleaning spray, though she promised not to ever do that again, saying that she "had an epiphany," according to the report.
"[Sarah] kissed [West] on the neck and went to the bathroom to take her bath," the report reads. "Mr. Lee said he also took his bath (in another bathroom), and when he finished, she still was not out so he checked on her."
After checking on her once, West called for her again, and got no response. According to the report, "The door was locked, which was not unusual, so [West] used a pair of scissors to gain entry. Once inside, he saw the victim unconscious."
West told the coroner that Sarah had attempted suicide twice in the past and had received medical attention. Her medical history was also investigated.
"Friends, family and acquaintances [of Sarah] were interviewed," Davis says.
"A longer than usual investigation was conducted in regards to pursuing who she was. This case is no longer active and not expected to open again just because it is back in the news."
Will this become a factor later this season or is it merely coming to light due to the unusual circumstances and the spotlight being on West Lee?

Maria's people 'leaked Arnie love child story'

TMZ claims Shriver was "hysterical" when she found out about Arnie's love child with housekeeper Mildred Baena and wanted to hold a press conferenceto announce the news.
Her people eventually managed to talk her out of it but later leaked the story to the LA Times and TMZ.
And while Arnie got there first and spoke out about the scandal, it seems he wasn't telling the whole truth.
TMZ also reports that Maria did not find out about the baby until late April or early May... Arnie claims he came clean in January.
Either way, divorce seems inevitable.
