In the wake of the devastating tsunami in Japan, Lady Gaga has stepped up to raise money for the victims.

The popstar has designed a charity bracelet and is urging her Little Monsters to put their hands in their pockets.
The bracelet, which features a 'monster's claw' and the words We Pray For Japan in both English and Japanese, is on sale for just $5 (£3).

Gaga took to Twitter to encourage fans to donate, writing: "I Designed a Japan Prayer Bracelet. Buy It/Donate here and ALL proceeds will go to Tsunami Relief Efforts. Go Monsters."

Other stars also expressed their horror at the shocking images from Japan, with the likes of Piers Morgan, Kim Kardashian and P Diddy all urging Twitter fans to "text REDCROSS to 90999" to make a $10 donation to the cause.
