It's been a week since
Rav Wilding and
Chantelle Houghton broke up - time for the bitterness to begin.
After all, with Rav suggesting the
relationship "wasn't genuine" and
Chantelle bandying words like "aggressive" about, it was only a matter of time.
According to
The Mirror, Rav has now told pals he was "stitched up" by the
Celebrity Big Brother star.
One blabbermouthed friend told the paper: "Rav thought Chantelle could be a long-term love, but now he realises she wasn't interested in him.
"Every time they went jogging or out on dates, there seemed to be photographers or stories in the media."
Come on Rav... it's not easy being famous for doing nothing. In fact, without the paps it would be virtually impossible.
Still, things came to a head when the pair decided to have lunch together. According to Rav's pals, Chantelle switched their plans to include the now infamous picnic.
When the
Crimewatch presenter realised the paps were already there, he wanted to leave but Chantelle allegedly refused to hand over the car keys. And that's supposedly what caused the row.
Rav's friend went on: "He wishes the relationship never happened because he was just being used. He knows it could have affected his career in serious journalism at the BBC and he wants to get things back on track."
His spokesman refused to comment on the rumour, telling
The Mirror: "Rav wants to focus on future projects and try to get his mind off the break up."
A spokesman for Chantelle meanwhile, insisted the claims were "untrue".
